The 0000-18 from Martin's Custom Shop is the perfect instrument for those whole love the sound and feel of a great OM but crave more power, projection and a profound richness in the low-end.
Built out of Old Growth Sinker Mahogany for the back and sides with an Adirondack Spruce top, the 0000-18 has a huge and versatile sound with an inspiring dynamic range and very individual tonality.
When played finger style the guitar has a stunning degree of note-separation and clarity with shimmering highs and of course plenty of heft in the low end to support the main body of its output, with the inherent balance really present itself when you start to dig in and work the instrument.
When played with a flatpick the 0000-18 can be likened to a dreadnought in its sonic identity. With a powerful presence and seemingly endless headroom, it's got you covered from Americana and bluegrass through to contemporary finger style playing.
