The Mad Professor Little Green Wonder is a boutique, low-compression, high-headroom overdrive and boost pedal originally designed by Björn Juhl (BJF Design).
Key Features and Design
BJF Design: Crafted by renowned pedal designer Björn Juhl, featuring a unique circuit that offers a more open, transparent sound than a traditional Tube Screamer.
Body Control: Instead of a standard treble/tone knob, the unique Body control adjusts the low-mid EQ balance and frequency range of the overdrive. Turning it counterclockwise boosts bass and low-mids with a touch of treble; turning it clockwise focuses the mids.
High Headroom: Designed to minimize unwanted internal compression, allowing it to stack easily anywhere in a pedalboard chain or work nicely with already-distorting amps.
Controls: Simple three-knob setup consisting of Volume, Drive, and Body.
Build Options: Available in classic factory PCB versions as well as premium hand-wired editions (handmade in Finland with top-mounted jacks and high-end components).
