Beautiful condition Gibson Custom Shop '68 Les Paul Gold Top Reissue. Super light weight. Sounds amazing!! Featuring a solid mahogany body, thick cutaway binding, a '68 Medium C-shaped neck profile, and historical appointments like an ABR-1 bridge and Kluson tuners, it is an exceptionally desirable collector piece. Comes with trwo sets of pickups, 'the original set' and 'lollars'. Lollar pickups are currently in the guitar.
These reissues blend vintage aesthetic accuracy with Custom Shop craftsmanship, offering a playing experience that sits between a classic '50s burst and a late-'60s model.Ā
Pickups & Electronics: While original '68 specs often featured P-90s, standard reissue models and special runs frequently include '68 Custom or PAF-style Custombucker humbuckers, wired with historically accurate CTS 500k pots and Black Beauty capacitors.
