Beautiful condition Ibanez AF-200 from 1993. Comes with original Ibanez hard case.
The AF200 is a hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1988. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Artstar series, replacing the somewhat similar FG100.
The AF200 features a full-sized, full-hollow, single Venetian cutaway body design with an arched, laminated spruce top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding on an flamed maple sides and arched back mated to a set-in mahogany and maple neck with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard with ivory binding and pearl and abalone split block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls, ivory plastic pickup rings, an ebony bridge with ebony saddle, a custom trapeze tailpiece, a bone nut, a flamed maple pickguard finished to match the body, Sure Grip II knobs, and Gotoh tuning machines with ivory buttons.
The AF207 is a related seven string model with a single pickup. The AS200 is a related semi-hollow, double cutaway model.
This version of the AF200 was discontinued after 2003, but the model AF200|was revived in 2014.
