This reissue meticulously replicates the iconic design of the original ’61 Les Paul SG, featuring a one-piece mahogany body and neck, coupled with a pair of Gibson “PAF” styled “Burstbucker” humbuckers, plus middle humbucker, and a Maestro Vibrola. The craftsmanship and attention to detail on this model are second to none, providing both the look and sound that harken back to the golden age of electric guitars.

In terms of condition, this SG displays an array of play-wear marks, indicative of a guitar that has been genuinely cherished and extensively gigged. This is not a factory "heavy relic" job; the wear and tear are authentic, adding character and a true vintage vibe to the instrument. Despite these cosmetic marks, the guitar remains structurally sound with no breaks or repairs. It has recently undergone a comprehensive clean and setup by Ben of Beej Guitar Repairs, ensuring it is in top playing condition.

The neck and the luxurious dark chocolate brown rosewood fretboard exhibit a relatively clean appearance and a smooth, comfortable feel. All 22 frets have been lightly dressed and still have plenty of life left, ensuring excellent playability. The hardware, matching the guitar's aged aesthetic, shows a natural patina that complements the instrument's overall vintage look. The original electronics are intact and function flawlessly, with the stock 'Burstbucker' pickups delivering that classic PAF tone, enhanced with a robust punch.
