As new condition Fender Rosewood Telecaster George Harrison signature. Comes with all paper work and original Fender hard case.
Fender hand-delivered the prototype of this rosewood Tele to George Harrison in 1968. He used it during the Let it Be sessions including the Beatle's final rooftop concert atop Apple Records on January 30th, 1969. In December of that year George gifted his special Tele to fellow guitarist Delaney Bramlett following an inspiring performance by Delaney that George had attended. It was cherished by Delaney for many years and then auctioned in 2003.
Recreated here in a limited edition, the George Harrison Rosewood Telecaster recaptures the magic of George's guitar.
Frequently mistaken for the Custom Shop model, Fender did limited American made standard production runs of the George Harrison Rosewood Telecaster in 2017, and again in 2021. These models both feature George's signature and the Ohm symbol on the neck plate (along with an American Vintage/American Original style serial number), while the Custom Shop models use the Fender "F" logo on the neck plate. Additionally, the Custom Shop models feature the Custom Shop logo on the back of the headstock, while the standard production models are blank.
