All original and in excellent original condition, 12 fret square neck sound well Dobro model 37 from 1938. Not to be confused with the cheaper F hole dobros.
These “Tea Strainer” sound hole models have an internal rim underneath the cone connected to the back and incorporating sound ports and baffles. This has the effect of beefing up the tone, and they sound quite different to the F hole models, much fuller and more sustain.
This same model was used by Josh Graves, Mike Auldridge,and Jerry Douglas for their iconic bluegrass twang tones.
Comes with the original hard case. Amazing vintage piece of history.
